ALAMAX GS is a high strength, castable refractory with a 2400 F (1315 C) service limit. Extra strength in this product has been achieved by using a combination of high strength aggregate and an enhanced refractory cement level.  The refractory is designed to have excellent thermal shock characteristics, due to coarse aggregate included in the composition.  It is used in general mill and industrial furnace applications.
